Terms of Service
Last updated 24 August 2026
1. Acceptance
1.1 These terms govern your use of CVBuilderKit at cvbuilderkit.com (the âServiceâ). By using the Service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use it.
1.2 We may amend these terms. The date at the head of this page records the current version, and continued use after a change is acceptance of the amended terms.
2. The Service
2.1 The Service turns a résumé you supply into structured data using automated models, renders it with a prebuilt template, and lets you edit and export the result.
2.2 It is provided free of charge and is under active development. Features may change or be withdrawn without notice.
3. Anonymous Accounts
3.1 The Service issues an anonymous identifier to your browser. There is no registration, no password and no account recovery.
3.2 Anyone with access to your browser profile can open and edit the CVs created in it.
3.3 Clearing your browser storage, switching browser or device, or working in a private window disconnects you from your CVs permanently. We cannot restore that access, because we have no way to verify the data was yours.
3.4 Exporting anything you need to keep is your responsibility.
4. Your Content
4.1 You keep every right you already hold in the rĂ©sumĂ© content, images and instructions you submit (âYour Contentâ).
4.2 You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, transmit, reformat and process Your Content, including sending it to the model providers listed in our Privacy Policy, for the sole purpose of operating the Service for you. The licence ends when the content is deleted.
4.3 You confirm that you hold the rights needed to submit Your Content and that submitting it breaks no law and infringes no third partyâs rights.
5. Acceptable Use
5.1 Do not submit another living personâs personal data unless you have a lawful basis for doing so.
5.2 Do not use the Service to fabricate credentials, to impersonate someone, or to produce unlawful, defamatory or infringing content.
5.3 Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure, and do not submit work by automated means at a volume that degrades it for others.
5.4 We may remove content or withdraw access where we reasonably believe this section has been breached.
6. Automated Output
6.1 CV data is produced by automated models. Output can be incomplete, mistaken or invented, including dates, employers and figures.
6.2 Reviewing and correcting a CV before you send it to anyone is your responsibility. We make no representation that output is accurate, current or fit for any application.
6.3 The Service is not career, employment, immigration or legal advice.
7. Availability and Warranties
7.1 The Service is provided âas isâ and âas availableâ, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
7.2 We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may suspend or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time.
7.3 We do not guarantee that data stored in the Service will be preserved. Keep your own copy of anything you value.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary loss, nor for lost data, lost profits, lost opportunity, or any hiring or employment outcome arising from your use of the Service.
8.2 Nothing here excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
8.3 Where liability can be limited, our total liability is capped at the amount you have paid to use the Service, which is nil.
9. Indemnity
9.1 You will indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from Your Content or from your breach of section 5.
10. Termination
10.1 You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your CVs from within it.
10.2 We may suspend or end access where these terms are breached or where the law requires it.
10.3 Clauses 4.3, 6, 7, 8 and 9 survive termination.

11.2 How personal data is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.
11.3 These terms describe how the Service is actually operated. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer and are not legal advice.
